Export2GCC uses a structured supplier status system to help GCC buyers better understand the level of information and evidence available for each supplier profile.
The verification badges are designed to improve transparency. They do not replace a buyer’s own commercial, technical, legal, compliance, or financial due diligence.
Supplier Status Levels
Claimed
A Claimed profile means that a representative of the supplier has claimed and controls the company profile on Export2GCC.
Claimed status confirms profile ownership only. It does not mean that Export2GCC has independently verified the company’s business registration, export capability, product quality, certifications, financial position, or GCC market experience.
Business Verified
Business Verified means Export2GCC has reviewed selected information intended to confirm the identity of the business.
Checks may include, where applicable:
- Legal or registered business name
- GST or other business registration information
- Company address and contact information
- Official website or business email
- Company representative details
- Other supporting business identification documents
Business Verified does not guarantee the supplier’s financial strength, product quality, manufacturing capability, contractual performance, or future conduct.
Export Verified
Export Verified means Export2GCC has reviewed evidence relating to the supplier’s export status or export capability.
Checks may include, where applicable:
- Importer Exporter Code (IEC)
- Export-related registrations
- Export documentation
- Supporting evidence of previous export activity
- Export capability information provided by the supplier
Export Verified indicates that relevant export-related evidence has been reviewed. It does not mean Export2GCC guarantees future shipments, customs clearance, regulatory approval, delivery performance, or product compliance in a destination country.
GCC Experience Verified
GCC Experience Verified means Export2GCC has reviewed evidence indicating that the supplier has previous export experience involving one or more GCC markets.
Evidence may include, where appropriate:
- Commercial invoices
- Shipping documentation
- Bills of lading or airway bills
- Certificates of origin
- Export or customs documentation
- Purchase orders or other credible commercial evidence
- Other supporting documentation demonstrating GCC trade activity
Sensitive commercial information may be redacted before review.
This status indicates that evidence of previous GCC export activity has been reviewed. It does not guarantee that the supplier currently meets every regulatory, technical, commercial, or product-specific requirement in every GCC country.
Verification Levels Are Cumulative
Export2GCC uses a progressive verification structure:
Claimed → Business Verified → Export Verified → GCC Experience Verified
A supplier displaying a higher verification level should normally have completed the preceding verification stages.
For example, a supplier displaying Export Verified should also have completed Business Verified checks.
A supplier displaying GCC Experience Verified should normally have completed the Business Verified and Export Verified stages.
This structure helps buyers understand the progression from profile ownership to business identity, export capability, and demonstrated GCC market experience.
What Verification Does Not Mean
Export2GCC verification should not be interpreted as an endorsement, guarantee, warranty, certification, credit rating, or recommendation of any supplier.
Verification does not guarantee:
- Product quality
- Product conformity or certification
- Manufacturing capacity
- Financial stability
- Creditworthiness
- Pricing
- Delivery performance
- Contractual performance
- Regulatory approval
- Customs clearance
- Authenticity of every statement made by a supplier
- Future business conduct
Verification reflects only the information and evidence reviewed by Export2GCC at the time of assessment.
Buyer Due Diligence
Buyers should independently evaluate suppliers before entering into any transaction.
Depending on the product, order value, destination country, and commercial arrangement, buyers should consider verifying:
- Supplier identity and registration
- Product specifications
- Samples
- Certifications and test reports
- Manufacturing capability
- Production capacity
- References
- Payment terms
- Incoterms
- Inspection requirements
- Shipping documentation
- Applicable GCC regulations
- Import approvals
- Product registration requirements
- Insurance
- Contract terms

Verification Review and Removal
Verification status may be reviewed periodically.
Export2GCC may request updated information or supporting evidence where necessary.
A verification badge may be modified, suspended, or removed if:
- information becomes outdated
- supporting documents expire
- significant inconsistencies are identified
- information cannot be revalidated
- a supplier provides misleading information
- the business ceases operations
- circumstances materially change
Export2GCC may also revise its verification standards as the platform develops.
Verification Date
Where appropriate, Export2GCC may display the date on which a verification review was completed or last updated.
Buyers should consider the age of verification information when assessing a supplier.
Reporting Incorrect Information
If you believe a supplier profile contains incorrect, outdated, or misleading information, please contact Export2GCC and provide the relevant details.
Export2GCC will review credible reports and may request additional information from the supplier.
A Transparency-First Approach
The purpose of the Export2GCC verification system is not to create an impression that risk has been eliminated.
Its purpose is to give GCC buyers clearer information about what has — and has not — been reviewed.
Claimed identifies profile ownership.
Business Verified adds business identity checks.
Export Verified adds export-related review.
GCC Experience Verified adds evidence of previous GCC trade activity.
Buyers should use these trust signals together with their own independent due diligence when evaluating suppliers.
